Site 13 is a psychological horror film in the vein of HP Lovecraft. It is the story of a man who awakens from a 10 year catatonic state in a mental institution. What happened? How did he get there? And what horrible thing from his past is coming for him?

The film interweaves this modern narrative with indigenous Amazon rainforest folklore and ancient Greek mythology of the Amazons, using the framework of German dramatist Heinrich von Kleist's 1808 tragedy Penthesilea.
